The Toys for Kids Drive, Toy Run and Canned Food drive is the largest charity drive that the Local does for the community.
All proceeds, toy and food donations are donated to the Christmas Angels fund, and stay in the Pulaski County. We start our
toy collection each year in the beginning of November, where we collect a large quantity of toys utilizing collection boxes
or money collection jars. If you are a local business and would like to participate, please contact us and we will include
your business as a collection point. On the Saturday following Thanksgiving each year we stand in front of Wal-Mart with Santa
collecting Toys, canned food items, and monetary donations. We have collected over $3000 in toys and canned food items and
monetary donations in past doing this, and will continue this as this community has shown to be very charitable. On the first
Sunday of December, Local 28 gathers and rides in the Waynesville Christmas parade.
